Message: I've give 3 stars on the location due to entry and exit. If you don't know where the entrance is you could very easily miss it. Leaving isn't much easier. I'm surprised the town approved this arrangement. The location itself gives easy access to 208, 287, 17 and 4. So those are excellent. 80 and the GSP are also close by.. The location is currently undergoing lobby renovations. So you should consider that as well.. Breakfast is served buffet style and is available by 6:30 am. Another plus if you are an early riser.

Message: Told it was being refurbished clearly, not my rooms. 1st smelled like smoke, I was told smoking wasn't allowed. Presumably, the previous occupants didn't get that memo. They were really nice and moved me to a different room it was shabby but very clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast wasn't elaborate, but it was satisfying. The coffee was hot.

Message: Guy checking us in had attitude but everyone else was sweet. Place was being renovated so it was a bit inconvenient. It should have been reflected in hotel stay price. The rooms itself were neat but the bathroom in the king size room is tiny. The door almost comes in contact with the toilet. My mom's room had a BIG spider

Message: I religiously read reviews before I go somewhere. I was a little skeptical to drive from MA to NJ with some of these reviews and the facility being under construction. However, when I got here the construction was barley noticeable. There was some base boards missing and a dumpster in the front but business as usual. There wasn’t any odor or dust in sight. As for the room, I was pleasantly surprised. Someone wrote a review about bed bugs. I’m unclear how that was even possible. The mattress looked new. I inspected the entire room with my phone flashlight because I’m a super clean freak. It was spotless other than someone put a piece of gum in the crack on the head board on the bed. I’ll assume it was a child. I loved that there was a huge couch on one side of the room and the big king bed on the other. The front desk staff were young but very personable. They also handed me a sheet which I believe was from the management and it listed all the amenities. I thought that was so helpful especially being out of town. They have a cute little station at the front with delicious snacks and beverages as well. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because there was a $100 card hold for potential damages. In MA it’s usually $50. But if folks treated hotels with respect maybe they wouldn’t do a card hold at all! I also feel it would’ve been nice to know the hotel was under construction so I could’ve made an informed decision. I only learned of the construction through reading reviews. I booked through Expedia so I can’t really say it’s the Hotel’s fault. Expedia should really know what they’re advertising and therefore advertise accurately. But overall it’s lovely and my daughter and I have a nice place to stay while we visit Nickelodeon Universe.
